The LBA's Health & Wellness Committee is excited to launch our "1000 Hours Outside" Challenge and we invite everyone to join us in this incredible outdoor adventure! Beginning April 1, we're challenging individuals of all ages to log 1000 hours outside in 2023.
Our challenge isn't just for kids and families, although they are more than welcome to participate. It's for anyone who wants to experience the joy and fulfillment of being in the great outdoors, whether it's for hiking, cycling, birdwatching, gardening or simply enjoying a picnic with friends and family.
To help you track your progress, click here for a free downloadable tracker from the 1000 Hours Outside website. Simply download a tracker and start logging your hours outside. Share your progress on social media and tag us, or send it directly to our committee liaison, Lisa Anspach at lanspach@loubar.org, to be entered to win a prize (winners drawn at random).
By taking on this challenge, you'll be investing in your health and wellbeing, connecting with nature and spending quality time with loved ones. So, what are you waiting for? Join the Health & Wellness Committee's "1000 Hours Outside" Challenge today and start experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of spending more time in nature.
