Want to provide free legal advice to those in need? The Louisville Bar Association needs volunteers for Call-a-Lawyer, a monthly call center providing free and anonymous legal advice to the public.

On the third Tuesday of each month, through the LBA’s Public Service Committee, individuals in need of legal advice may speak anonymously with a volunteer lawyer who can answer general legal questions. Interested participants can call (502) 583-1801 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. to be connected with an attorney who will answer their question or direct them to an appropriate organization for assistance. All calls are confidential and free of charge. Since calls answered are of general nature, no client-attorney privilege is established.
