All of us at the Louisville Bar Association were devastated to learn of the deadly storms that caused such unimaginable loss of life and destruction in Western Kentucky. We were particularly saddened by the loss of a member of our state’s judiciary, District Judge Brian Crick; our thoughts and sincere condolences go out to his family and every other family that has been forever touched by this tragedy.

The members of the LBA stand ready to assist and support our neighbors in the impacted communities. To help provide financial resources to those in need as quickly and directly as possible, we ask all members to consider making a donation to the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund at www.TeamWKYReliefFund.ky.gov.

When it is appropriate, we will also be reaching out to Bar Association leadership in the affected counties to offer whatever professional assistance we can provide to help the people of their communities through this difficult time.
