On behalf of the LBA Board of Directors, I’m excited to announce that Kristen Miller will step in as LBA’s executive director, effective Nov. 8. A graduate of Western Kentucky University and UofL’s Brandeis School of Law, Kristen brings a breadth of experience in the corporate, legal, government and nonprofit sectors. She’ll be featured in the November issue of Bar Briefs, but you can meet her before then at our Oct. 7 event at Rabbit Hole Distillery.

After 14 years as executive director, LBA Executive Director Scott Furkin will be named executive director emeritus and help facilitate a smooth transition through Feb. 2022. We look forward to recognizing Scott for his leadership and accomplishments in the coming months!
