The judicial evaluation, conducted annually since 1979, assesses the performance of district, circuit, family and federal judges serving Jefferson County and the Western District of Kentucky. This feedback is critical to the effective administration of justice and the continued independence of our judiciary. The judicial evaluation also provides an information source to the general public of the qualifications and integrity of judicial candidates.
The material provided in these evaluations is proprietary and does not constitute an endorsement of any judge by the LBA or KBA. The LBA conducts the judicial evaluation project annually by way of generous grant money received from the Louisville Bar Foundation.
